Welcome to GoVWGo! I’m Caitlin, and I’m glad you’re here.

My employment with VW started in November 2021, shortly after my second child was born, as a part-time cashier at Fred Beans VW Devon. The VW Fred Beans organization made me feel welcome, valued and understood as a young mom trying to find my way back into the workforce after having my kids. This was a big reason I was open to expanding my role within the company, and especially in an industry with which I had no familiarity.

I grew up in Media, PA and studied Culinary Arts/Nutrition at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. After graduating in 2010, I became a Registered Dietitian and worked in an assisted living facility as well as corporate wellness for several years. As it turns out, I fell out of love with the field once I experienced it in the real world, so I switched gears (haha) and was home with my first son after he was born in January 2020 and during the onset of COVID. After my second son was born, I was ready for the next step in my career, and my VW journey began!

A year after learning the ropes at reception and getting more familiar with the dealership, I pivoted into a new role as Used Car Assistant, helping our Operations Manager and Used Car Manager process vehicles that the dealership purchased or had traded in. This gave me great insight on the behind-the-scenes workings of how we prepare vehicles for sale and how VW warranties and Certified Pre-Owned programs work. Still wanting to learn and work more, I started working full time in Sales in January of 2023.

At the end of my first year in Sales, I was voted Salesperson of the Year by my fellow Sale Consultants, and within my second year, I won the title of Regional Champion for the Northeast Region in VW’s national Dealer Skills Tournament. My experience as a woman and mom in the auto industry have certainly given me my own unique perspective and approach with my customers that many can appreciate. I own and drive both a 2024 VW Atlas and a manual 2014 VW Jetta!

When I’m not working, I’m wrangling my sons, Harrison (age 5), Cooper (age 3) and Max (age 1 year) and our dog, Toby, with my husband, Steve at our home in Newtown Square, PA. Steve works in a restaurant on the weekend, so we both have unusual and busy schedules. Sunday is our family day off together, so we try to save it for the kids’ activities, dog park walks, and date nights for Steve and me.

Since I come from a hospitality and nutrition background, I take pride in my ability to develop relationships and listen to the needs of my clients to help them find their perfect car. If my customers walk away from one of our transactions feeling heard and appreciated in a vehicle that they love, I feel that I’ve done my job. I’d love to help you or your loved ones find your next vehicle!
